CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing Medilaser for your surgical and medical care. We understand that plans can change, and sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment with us. To ensure a smooth and fair cancellation process, we have established the following Cancellation Policy.
NONREFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE
A Nonrefundable Booking Fee (NRBF) is required to book a surgery and block a surgery date. This fee is due at the time of scheduling surgery and is nonrefundable.
SURGICAL FEE
Your quote for surgery or Surgical Fee includes all postoperative follow up visits as well as the surgeon’s fee for any revisional procedures necessary and performed at Medilaser within the first year. Some expenses which may apply and have not been incorporated in this fee include prescription medications, preoperative labs, EKG if necessary, or any additional necessary preoperative testing which are usually covered by insurance, and compression garments. The balance of the Surgical Fee is due and payable two weeks prior to the actual procedure date. If surgery is canceled by the patient within one week of surgery, 50% of the surgical fee is refundable. If surgery is canceled by the patient on the day of surgery, the surgical fee is nonrefundable. This is due to resources have already been allocated to accommodate for the surgery.
COMPRESSION GARMENTS
Compression stockings or bodysuit compression garments will be accepted for return or exchange if the items are in new condition, unworn, unaltered, and free of damages by the customer. Items cannot be returned or exchanged after 21 days from the receipt of the original order.
FACIAL OR SKINCARE PRODUCTS
Items such as Giraldo MD medical skin care, EltaMD®, or Silagen® products are nonreturnable due to hygiene/health and personal care/wellness nature of the product.
MAIL ORDERS
For delivery items being returned, start the return process within 3 days of receiving your item. Product must be in unused condition. Shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer in cases of buyer’s return such as an item did not fit, did not like the color, change of mind, order by mistake, etc. Facial or skincare products are nonreturnable and nonrefundable.
