Mauricio Giraldo, M.D.

Dr. Giraldo is a board certified surgeon who underwent extensive training in cancer, transplant, and reconstructive surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, as well as Harvard Medical School, where he was appointed instructor of surgery between 2000 and 2001.

Earlier in his career he showed intrest in microsurgical technology, becoming a scholar of microsurgery at the University of Miami in 1988. Through his experience with tissue and organ preservation he joined Dr. Robinson to perform fat tissue transfer for face and body sculpting.

In 2009, he trained in Belgium with the inventor of vibro-liposuction Jean Mallak, M.D. Together, Dr. Giraldo and Dr. Robinson have introduced significant innovations to liposuction techniques in order to achieve dramatic skin tightening and cellulite reduction, which are not achievable through other methods. Dr. Giraldo preformed the first vibro-liposuction under straight local anesthesia without sedation in the US.
